I just added these two Cyanotypes of baobab blossoms I finished on the weekend:

Baobab Blossom 1

Baobab Blossom 2

PS: These images are examples, that you can get really good prints using gutenprint on Linux, despite some the problems I sometimes have with my “special” images (you can read those stories on my blog too)!

Two questions, the first less relevant, and the second highly relevant:

1) less relevant: What camera are you using - just very curious.

2) relevant: how long does it take you to process the photos?

1) I'm using a Canon EOS 300, mostly with Fuji Superia 400. If the part of the image I want to process is large enough, I'm scanning the negative, else a printout.

2) The exposure of the Cyanotypes takes 20 to 30 minutes with a artificial UV source. Using the sun on a high summer day around noon would process these in about 10 to 15 min here in Dresden, but it's very hard to get a reliable (foreseeable) process using the sun. After the exposure the prints are washed for about 20 min and then they need to dry for about a day.
